Ensure You Have Sufficient Travel Insurance So That You Can Enjoy Your Holiday This Summer
The summer holiday season has arrived which means it’s time to dust off your flip-flops, buy your annual bottle of sun cream and pack your suitcase before heading for beautiful holiday destinations all over the world. Whilst holidays are a time to relax and have some well-earned fun, ensuring you and your family are covered by sufficient travel insurance is of paramount importance to make your holiday one to remember for all the right reasons.
You’ve read the stories that so often appear in the newspapers; you know the ones about the uninsured teenage lad who falls off his quad bike on a busy street in Crete. What seemed like harmless fun soon became a disaster as he realised he would be left with more than just a few broken bones when stuck in a Greek hospital. Without travel insurance you are required to pay whatever is asked of you for hospital treatment abroad.
Britain’s National Health Service is often taken for granted; especially when it is considered that many countries across the world don’t have free hospital treatment. With this in mind, holiday insurance is essential to help you avoid extortionate hospital costs if someone in your group has an accident abroad. After all, crippling debt caused by an excessive hospital bill received whilst abroad is far from a desirable souvenir to bring home.
Ensuring you choose the most appropriate insurance policy for you and your family is vital in order to protect you against all possible eventualities whilst abroad this summer. Here are some useful tips to ensure you and your family are sufficiently insured:
Compare policies as well as prices
When shopping around for travel insurance, compare the policies of the travel insurance rather than just focusing solely on the price. This is incredibly important because although many travel insurance policies are tempting in terms of their low price, often cheaper insurance offer lower levels of cover. Ultimately, you get what you pay for.
Avoid Travel Insurance Offered By Your Holiday Provider
Whilst it is tempting to take the easy option and buy insurance from your holiday provider when booking your holiday, by shopping around for a cheaper deal, you could potentially save cash. This means you will have more money for those Sangrias!
Avoid Extortionate Excess Charges
This is the main problem travellers face when on holiday. Although you may have sufficient travel insurance, some policies include incredibly high excess charges. Most policies will require an excess charge of around £30-£50 to make a claim but it is not uncommon for some policies to carry excess charges of over £200.
Purchase Holiday Insurance As Soon As You Have Booked Your Trip
If you do this, and you have chosen the right policy you will be covered if for any reason your holiday is suddenly cancelled (think Icelandic volcanoes…). With this in mind, holiday cancellation cover should be a priority when comparing policies.
By following these helpful tips when shopping around for your travel insurance, you will be able to relax on holiday safe in the knowledge that you are covered by a sufficient travel insurance policy. With peace of mind, you can spend less time stressing and more time enjoying your well-earned break this summer. Happy holidays!

Safari Holidays: Big Five Check-list!
Seeing the Big Five and then filming them has long been the biggest things that people want to do on a safari holiday. Safari holidays is a dream come true for the more adventurous travellers.
The big question is what is the big five beautiful animals to see on a safari?
Lion
The lion often tops the list of the big five animals to visitors wishing to find and photograph, perhaps because of potential dangers and excitement involved.
However, tourists are often surprised to learn that the lion, fierce as they're portrayed are actually vulnerable species. It is thought that the numbers could be reduced up to fifty percent over the last twenty years on the African continent. Once spotted roaming the northern countries, the lions are now only habitable in sub-Saharan Africa. Kruger National Park is home to one of the most beloved specie, the South African Lion and Lion of the Transvaal - the name of Bantu-speaking natives who live in the region that were later colonized by the Boers - and is also thought to be one of the best places to catch a glimpse of being difficult.
African Elephant
There is no sight more beautiful than a family of elephants slowly striding their way through the bushes in front of your safari vehicle. The grace of these animals the opposite of their large size (up to 13 feet long and one man)provide viewers with a magical experience. Although the ivory trade nearly destroyed the population of these extraordinary animals, the international ban in 1990 did much to improve their numbers, although
Poaching continues to this day. The figures are believed to be highest in Kenya, however, many say that this member of the Big Five is one of the most likely to be seen at any safaris.
Buffalo
Few people realize that the Cape buffalo is perhaps the most dangerous Big Five definitely one to keep an eye on the days of a safari! Agile and fast, this animal possesses two large sharp horns ready and waiting to attack those who threaten it. Hunters exploit it for its valuable fur and flesh. The numbers of Buffaloes are still relatively high, so the chance of seeing one in the wild are good.
Leopard
Smallest of the big cats in the wild, this cat spotted still deserves a place in the check-list. The Leopard is unique because of its fur and speeds of up to 36 mph. You are as likely to see this cat in the woodland than the open space because of its ability to climb.
Rhino
Safari guides tell us that the best way to escape a charging rhinoceros is to run zigzag and head to the nearest tree, but a real safari tour provider will not need this tip!

Spa Retreats: Travel The World Without Fear Of Stress
I was at the limit of my patience, when I found a retreat site that offers spa packages. A combination of 60 hours per week working in the city, the pressure of my boss and to make one more barrel of stress family related issues has finally taken its toll. That was enough - I need a break.
But this time, one or two weeks on a beach would not be enough. Countless holidays on the Spanish coast and the Greek islands had taught me that I had something more sophisticated to relax completely.
I need a completely secluded, quiet and picturesque area to make sure that I experienced total relaxation, with no possibility of being molested or harassed. I don't want to hear any music, I do not want to hear children playing in the pool, and of course I'll have to turn my phone off.
Eyes on the horizon
Some of my friends whom had travelled the world speak of deserted beaches of white sand and azure waters, but the idea of going somewhere far away and exotic seemed difficult and potentially dangerous for a woman alone.
In addition, I knew that even if they had a fantastic time, I could not go without my plates and 12 hours a day moisturizer, not to mention the whole holiday. I had nothing to be ashamed of - just do not have any trips.
Thus, the Spa Retreat is the perfect solution. So I had the opportunity to experience one of the most beautiful places, to organize and negotiate without me being in a strange land in an unknown language. In short, I could see all the things that my friends had seen, felt they had experienced everything, but without the crowded hostels, backpacking tiring and uncomfortable bathroom arrangements.
When breathing
From the moment we decided to book a vacation package Spa Retreat, only hard thing I had to do was to decide which destination to choose among the dozens of spectacular places on offer. I finally chose a dramatic decline, perched in the pine-covered hills in the mountains of Bhutan - somewhere I've always wanted to go, but never imagined ever would or could.
From here on end, it was easy. The online company took care of everything. Flights and transfers to yoga on the deck and relaxing massage, I was completely taken care of, make sure that I did not have to lift a finger for the duration of my retirement.
Best part of my trip was that I was able to actually take the time to myself - something that was in the back of short supply of housing. I recommend booking a spa online to anyone: it was so easy and gave me a well deserved rest, who had been promising for years.
